FULL JOURNEY TO BUDAPEST

My Journey, Pt. 1

On 2nd of March, my family and I had booked a flight to Budapest from Pristina Airport. Who knew that when we would come back to Tirana, so many bad things would happen....anyways let's concentrate on this amazing trip we had.

Since our flight was from Prishtina, we woke up early and had a 4 hours road trip from Tirana to Pristina. Fortunately, we arrived on time fro our flight which lasted 1 hour and 30 min with WizzAir where we had a comfortable flight, but i must admit that most of the road passed sleeping xD

The first impression for the people in Budapest there was not that nice tbh. The woman who was responsible for the metro tickets to go to city center did not speak English at all and did not have the kindness to explain the exact direction of the tickets she gave us. So, make sure to check online before and exchange your money to HUF (hungarian money) in the airport because even in buses to go to city center they do not accept Euro. However, thanks to a cool map application which works even without internet connection, we managed to arrive at our hotel without any problem.

By the way, we stayed at Novum Golden Park Hotel. If you follow me on instagram, i have shared the view from the room and its location was perfect because it had metro, buses (even though we did not use them) Spar and some fancy restaurants including "New York Cafe" really close. Moreover, the lady at the reception was veery kind and helpful.

The first day we arrived, we had a walk around the hotel because i really enjoy walking especially in new cities since i feel more connected to it, rather than moving with buses or trains and of course i straightly went to "Burger King", which can not be found in Albania. After that, we went to have a look to the amazing view of the lake and the breath taking architecture of 3 famous bridges of Budapest. Actually, everything was more than i was expecting. There was a fashion street with high fashion brands, which are also missing in Albania xD.

To end the day with sweetness, we went to try the desserts of the well-known "New York Cafe". For more, go to my stories on IG and some new posts will be updated.

What i wore?

Even though it was the beginning of March, the weather was cold, especially during the nights. So, i made the best decision by taking the brown, Dresslily coat and skirt combined with Coofit backpack as well as a watch from Hanewatches.
